A concert guitarist in possession of a repertoire spanning five centuries - from the Renaissance through to the 20th century - Jeff also enjoys the reputation of being a fine jazz and flamenco guitarist, making him one of the most versatile guitarists in the UK.
Alongside his career as a classical recitalist, Jeff regularly performs on the jazz scene in the London area - from instrumental solo/duo work and accompanying vocalists, to larger groups.
As a flamenco guitarist, he has a number of original compositions to his name and performs in various ensemble settings. He is also interested in early music and plays vihuela de mano.
Jeff has released three commercial recordings to date. His first, '20th Century Guitar' (2005) was received to high acclaim and features some of the finest repertoire of the 20th century. Further releases include ´Iberian & Latin American Guitar Music´(2008) and 'The Music of Luys de Narvaez' (2015).
As well as being regularly invited to perform at various venues and festivals throughout the UK, he has also performed in Canada, Portugal, Spain and Italy.
A sought after teacher, he runs a busy teaching schedule, and taught at the legendary (now defunct) Spanish Guitar Centre in London for many years.
Based in London since 1998, Jeff studied guitar in his native Canada and holds both a BMus from the University of Toronto and an FRSM in Guitar Performance.
